Acoustic panel and airflow designed/coordinated

One of the more important features of our media ceiling system is optimizing the airflow pattern to enhance its world leading safety, health, and sustainability characteristics. The panel size is easily customized and absorbs excess noise from both below and above while maintaining the thermal layering benefits of the airflow pattern. This is the most important aspect of the ceiling panel selection. There is a significant amount of study suggesting that a completely open ceiling is the safest and most energy reducing solution. However one esthetically wishes to enclose the laboratory environment, there needs to be open space for the airflow pattern to allow access to above the grid where air exhaust is completed. This maximizes energy consumption reduction benefits and significantly reduces operating costs over the life of the lab.

The panels are easily dropped down for access to all media above each light channel. Colors and exterior material can be considered.
